the vintage cabin, newly renovated

Built by hand in 1979

In 1979, two brothers from the Bay Area came looking for the feeling they’d never forgotten—summer camp. The smell of pine needles, the clatter of aluminum mugs, the hush of the woods at night. They found a quiet stretch of Tahoe Donner, back when it was mostly raw land and winding forest roads.

On weekends, they returned with lumber in the truck bed and cedar dust in their hair, shaping a cabin board by board.

They weren’t building a lux getaway. They were building a refuge—something simple, sturdy, and alive with firelight—a place where the years could pass kindly.

Today, the cabin still holds their fingerprints: warm cedar walls, creaking floors, and the steady calm of a place made with real hands and real heart.
